National Punctuation Day was founded in 2004 by Jeff Rubin to celebrate proper punctuation and raise awareness of common errors. Punctuation is not merely decorative: it changes meaning ("Let's eat, Grandma" vs. "Let's eat Grandma"), signals register and tone, and represents centuries of accumulated
