World Rhino Day

Five species. Three critically endangered. The poaching market drives them closer to extinction.

World Rhino Day on September 22 was established in 2010 by WWF-South Africa to raise awareness about all five rhinoceros species, three of which are critically endangered. Rhinos face primarily one threat: poaching for their horn, driven by demand in Vietnam and China where horn is used in tradition
